Looking for a quiet corner to read, a space to roll dice with friends, or host your book club IRL? You’ve found your spot.

We offers flexible, cozy, and nerdy spaces perfect for:

  • Tabletop & board game nights

  • Book clubs & writing groups

  • Workshops & community meetups

  • Reading, puzzling, painting minis & more

    • Reservations are available in 1–4 hour blocks.

    • Walk-ins welcome if space is available, but we recommend booking ahead

    • Feel free to bring your own food and drinks (light snacks encouraged!)

    • Room fees help keep our doors open & our lights (and lanterns) on

    • Need to book outside of posted hours or for a private event? Contact us

  • You may extend your reservation at the normal hourly rate, provided there are no parties booked after you.

    Subject to availability, of course.

  • Each room comes equipped with:

    • Comfortable seating

    • Access to Wi-Fi

    • Power outlets

    • Optional game/library access (just ask!)

    • Game supplies like minis, books, maps, terrain, and more! (Want to add to the library of DM supplies? Let us know!)

  • Parties larger than 12 must call or email us at Bookings [at] TheSecretLantern [dot] com if you’d like to reserve the main floor for parties, events, and more.

Light-filled and calm, ideal for book clubs, journaling, tutoring, or solo study sessions and obviously, your next ttrpg adventure. Enough space for up to 10 folks.

Once an actual bank vault, now a moody and magical game room with a large table (or two smaller ones), cozy seating, and enough space for up to 6-8 players.

A versatile space for crafting, brainstorming, or low-key meetups — bring your snacks and ideas enough space for 10–12 folks.

  • We allow outside food and beverage but understand that you are responsible for your mess and cleanup. We allow cakes/desserts for celebrating major life events. Please bring your own supplies and clean up after yourselves.

    Respect the space.

    We cannot, however store outside food items.

    This policy is subject to change. Please be responsible for your party.

  • We love children. Seriously.

    But we are not designed with kids in mind and do not host parties for children.

    We highly recommend Paper Bark Birch if you’re looking for a children’s bookstore and offerings.

    Children must be accompanied by an adult.
